Activity: Create Your Vision Board
Welcome to the "Create Your Vision Board" activity, a powerful tool for manifesting your desires and dreams. A vision board is a visual representation of your goals, aspirations, and the life you want to create. By creating a vision board, you'll bring your dreams to life and reinforce your intentions, making them more tangible and achievable.
Introduction:
A vision board is like a canvas where you paint the picture of your ideal future. It's a collage of images, words, and symbols that represent your goals, values, and desires. This creative and deeply personal exercise allows you to clarify your intentions, stay focused on your objectives, and visualize the path to your dreams.
In this workbook, we will focus on creating your vision board digitally as this means you can easily use it as desktop background or phone wallpaper. It’s of course also possible to create a physical vision board if that’s more your vibe!
How to Create Your Digital Vision Board:
Creating a digital vision board is a flexible and imaginative process that allows you to manifest your desires and maintain focus on your goals. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
Step 1: Define Your Goals
Begin by clarifying your goals and aspirations. What do you want to achieve in different areas of your life, such as career, relationships, personal growth, or health? Take time to reflect and jot down your specific goals.
Step 2: Collect Visual Inspiration
Now, it's time to gather visual inspiration. Use the internet to search for images, quotes, and symbols that resonate with your goals. You can find these on websites, image banks, or by creating your own designs. As you search, consider how each image aligns with your aspirations.
Extra tip: Pinterest is a great source for aesthetic pictures, you can also easily download them to add to your board. Furthermore, creating a “vision board” folder in your Pinterest can give you a nice and beautiful place to store all your inspirational pictures, quotes and more!
Step 3: Choose a Digital Design Tool
Select a digital design tool that suits your preferences and skill level. Canva, for example, is user-friendly and offers a wide range of templates and design elements. If you're comfortable with graphic design, Adobe Photoshop provides more advanced customization options.
Step 4: Create Your Board
Open your chosen digital design tool and create a new project. Set the dimensions of your board (e.g., 1920x1080 pixels for a screensaver). Start arranging your collected images, quotes, and symbols on the canvas. Be creative with your layout, and don't forget to leave space for your goals and affirmations.
Step 5: Add Your Goals and Affirmations (Optional)
This step is optional, as some may prefer a vision board containing only picutres and no text or quotes. You are of course free to choose! This is your vision board so feel free to customized and design it however you like, there are no fixed rules here.
Incorporate your defined goals and empowering affirmations onto your digital vision board. Use text elements to express your intentions clearly. Your affirmations should be in the present tense and positively framed, such as "I am confident and successful."
